Computer vision for businesses in Kazakhstan
Cameras record what happens on site. Computer vision helps identify an object or event in that footage, such as a vehicle passing a gate, a product moving through a loading area or someone entering a defined zone. An event becomes useful when a team can check it against the recording and act on it.
Kuzet AI is an application for working with cameras and video archives. It includes video search, events, reports and notifications. This guide explains how to define a warehouse or industrial site task and evaluate a suitable scenario using your recordings.
What to prepare for an evaluation
Start with a specific question: what should be seen or counted, where does it happen and what should someone do with the result? Useful inputs include:
- Camera or recorder models and a way to access recordings. Equipment compatibility needs to be checked before connection.
- Examples of routine work and difficult conditions: overlapping objects, groups of objects, lighting changes or a reversal of movement.
- The area boundaries and a clear event rule. For example, count a bag when it crosses a chosen line.
- Manually checked examples with event times, physical object counts and notes on ambiguous moments.
Tasks to evaluate on video
These are demo scenarios to discuss. Suitability and quality need to be checked for each camera view and process. A demonstration alone does not establish performance at your site.
Counting products and bags
- Input
- Footage of movement or loading where individual units can be seen.
- Intended result
- A unit crossing a defined line, linked to the relevant recording.
- What to check
- Missed units, duplicates and unrelated objects. A bag count does not establish the weight of its contents.
Events in work zones
- Input
- A view of the zone boundaries and an agreed rule for presence or crossing.
- Intended result
- An event that an employee can open and review in its video context.
- What to check
- Occlusion, movement near a boundary and situations that should not trigger a notification.
Vehicles in the yard
- Input
- Gate or yard footage where vehicles and their direction of travel are visible.
- Intended result
- A passage or movement within a defined zone, linked to its video segment.
- What to check
- Queues, stops, reversing and the same vehicle appearing again.
How to judge the result
Agree on what counts as a correct event and which errors affect the work before evaluating the footage. One overall number will not tell you where the system fails.
Write down the rule
Define the object, zone and event boundary. Specify how to treat a return journey, a stop or an object hidden behind another object.
Compare with a manual review
Match the physical objects and events in selected recordings against the analysis output. Record misses, false detections and duplicates with their timestamps.
Check different conditions
Use separate examples from another shift or under different lighting. A successful clip does not establish quality across all cameras.
Decide what happens next
Identify who needs to review a recording, check a report or respond to a notification. Agree on who reviews ambiguous events.
What limits the result
Camera angle and lighting affect what the recording reveals. A small distant object, motion blur or complete occlusion may leave too little information. Improving the camera position or visibility of the work area may need to come first.
A demo supports the discussion; scenario readiness and accuracy need their own evaluation. New rules, unusual object recognition and connections to an accounting system require a separate discussion. Video analytics does not imply that every custom function is already available.
Video access, recording placement and retention are agreed before connection, based on the selected configuration and site requirements.
Questions before you start
Can we use our existing cameras?
We first check the camera or recorder models and video access, then assess the view and recording quality for the task. Equipment replacement is not assumed in advance.
Can quality be evaluated before connection?
We can start by discussing sample recordings and the event rule. The evaluation scope and acceptance criteria need to be agreed in advance. Accuracy cannot be promised without your data.
What is already available in Kuzet AI?
Camera and archive access, video search, events, reports and notifications. An analysis scenario for your particular process is discussed and checked separately.
What does computer vision cost for a business?
Pricing is discussed after reviewing the site, equipment and required scenarios. The proposal should describe the work and the terms for using the application.
Discuss the task using your footage
Tell us which part of your operation you want to observe and what result you need. We will show the application and discuss the material needed for an evaluation.
